In an effort to open a line of communication to our customers and followers, Wok'n in Memphis has developed a safety plan inspired by our fellow restaurants and small businesses. We hope that during this time, you will continue to patron your favorite spots around town. We are incredibly grateful for your continued support.

Wok'n in Memphis : COVID-19 Safety Plan
Effective Fri 3/13/20. Operations as normal + increased preventative measures

  • Normal operating hours will continue

  • We will use only disposable containers/dishware. Staff will hand each customer the necessary cutlery per order in an effort to reduce the number of hands touching shared sundries. Currently, this is our to-go packaging (most of which is recyclable).

  • Social distancing: We will use the barrier between us and the guest to give our staff and the customer space. We ask that if a line forms and while seated in the food hall, you keep a safe distance between each other to reduce contact.

  • Installing a hand sanitizer station within the food hall and we will closely monitor hand soap/paper towels in each restroom.

  • Increased and scheduled sanitizing of all surfaces, seats, tabletops, pens, menus, iPad, phone, etc. throughout the day!

  • Eliminating cash purchases until further notice, please pay with your smart device or a debit/credit card.

  • If you plan on sharing an item, please let us know and we will plate in separate containers.

  • Increased diligence in using tongs, tweezers, serving spoons, gloves, etc for retrieving items and garnishing; note: we are carefully stewarding our gloves as the CDC has issued an urgent plea for everyone to limit glove use so there are enough for frontline medical workers.

We are taking extra precautions in our kitchen including but not limited to cooks working on one task at a time, in the workstation and fully sanitizing the station/booth between each task, canceling/postponing events, etc.

In case of emergency—we will notify customers via social media (Wok’n in Memphis and Puck Food Hall) of any changes to our operations.
